For working parents, efforts to meet the needs of children are not carried out optimally. For this reason, there are alternatives for parents or working mothers so that they can continue to provide the rights of children and as an effort to avoid neglect by children. Childcare is a solution for those who have a career. Social service institutions in the field of child welfare are the role of temporary parents for children. The type of service is based on time, one of which is full day care, where children are kept for a full day at the TPA until parents or mothers finish work. This study aims to describe the implementation of full day care in one of the landfills in Bandung Regency. How is the implementation of full day care in terms of care / care programs, education, nutrition and health, human resources, and obstacles. The subject of this research is the Child Care Institute Subjects taken by purposive sampling technique or sample aims because it is expected to obtain informants who know about the research object. Fifty-Three English-major freshmen from STKIP Muhammadiyah of Enrekang participated in these lessons. Two principal questions namely: (1) what is the most frequent use of reading approach reported by individual students? (2) Is there any significant association between reading approach and effectiveness on their English reading comprehension? To examine the effects of approach instruction on students’ reading performance, a qualitative interview technique and quantitative research methods including a paired-sample t-test and Person Product Moment Correlation were used to estimate the relationship between reading approach use and effectiveness on students’ reading accomplishment. Significance showed that the most frequent use of reading approach was found to be metacognitive approach, followed by the cognitive approach. In addition, there was a significant positive connection between reading approach and effectiveness on their English reading comprehension. Reading approach, on the other hand, was unrelated to reading achievement. Results of interview findings were analyzed to explore in-depth in sequence about the condition of approach used. This is based on the idea that improving the quality of the poor requires a development effort that is carried out in a planned, structured, and based on scientific and objective thinking. This study aims to produce a life skills education model that can play a role in poverty reduction in rural areas. The results showed that: first, the assessment of life skills education needs in the two target groups was carried out using 4-H life skills thinking (head / brain, hands / hands, heart / heart, and health / health). Life skills needs in the target groups in the two programs referred to show conditions that are not much different, where the two groups still need to be developed aspects of the brain, hands, and heart. In addition, a validated 4-H life skills education model was formulated. Second, based on the conditions found, a series of life skills education development activities carried out include vocational training, the provision of learning experiences through field observations, discussions and reflections on vocational training results and observations, implementation of 4-H model non-vocational life skills training, and evaluation of educational outcomes carried out . The development model that was tested was then validated. Evaluation results indicate an increase in educational output held in the two target groups of the program. Therefore, in the context of poverty reduction, the 4-H PKH model needs to be developed in a more structured and integrative way and guarantee all life skills that are the focus of developing life skills to overcome poverty.
Faisal Faisal Ahamd Risal Hardianto Hardianto Elihami Elihami ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-06-18 2019-06-18 1 1 106 114 DEVELOPING THE CAPACITY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES TEAHAERS IN BRINGING LIFE TO THE CLASS THROUGH INTESIVE CLINICAL https://ummaspul.e-journal.id/JENFOL/article/view/215
The purpose of this study is to: a) Improve the ability of physics teachers in living the classroom learning atmosphere; b) Improving the ability of social studies teachers in developing lesson plans by applying learning models that enliven the learning atmosphere in the classroom; and, c) Improving the ability of social studies teachers in increasing student activity in classroom learning activities.
