Lack of stimulation from parents can cause developmental delays in children. Temper tantrums are unpleasant and disturbing emotional outbursts. The consequences of temper tantrums, for example, a child who vents his frustration by rolling on a hard floor, can cause the child to become injured, venting his anger by hitting his head against the wall, pulling out his hair, and endangering people around him. Temper tantrums can hurt a child’s development, especially if not handled properly. This research aims to determine “The correlation between maternal knowledge and the incidence of temper tantrums in toddlers at the Patumbak Community Health Center in 2024”. This research was quantitative analytical research using cross-sectional analysis. Held from February to March 2024 in the Patumbak Community Health Center working area in 2024. The population was 120 people, and the sample size was 55 using the accidental sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire, and univariate data processing is presented in the form of a frequency distribution table followed by bivariate analysis using SPSS vs 25, then presented descriptively and analytically through statistical tests. The survey results showed that the majority of mothers’ knowledge about temper tantrums in toddler-aged children at the Patumbak Community Health Center was 21 people (38.2%) with poor knowledge, 19 people (34.5%) with sufficient knowledge, and 15 people (27.3%) with good knowledge. From the results of the chi-square test, the value P (0.000) < (0.05) was obtained, which concluded that there was a correlation between maternal knowledge and the incidence of temper tantrums in toddlers at the Patumbak Community Health Center.

2025-10-01T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ummaspul.e-journal.id/maspuljr/article/view/8879 An Exploration of Digital Music Nostalgia: Investigating the Reminiscence Bump through YouTube Streaming 2025-05-13T08:05:56+00:00 Dera Raksaesa Regawa regawadera@gmail.com Yudi Sukmayadi yudi.sukmayadi@upi.edu
This study explores the phenomenon of the reminiscence bump within the context of digital music through the YouTube platform. The reminiscence bump refers to the tendency of individuals to recall events from adolescence to early adulthood more vividly, which in this study is activated through exposure to music from the 1990s and 2000s. Data were collected from 100 user comments on nostalgic music compilation videos and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results indicate that music from adolescence and early adulthood evokes strong and emotional autobiographical memories. Dominant themes include school-time nostalgia, loss of loved ones, life reflection, and specific memories tied to particular songs. Music was found to be an effective medium for connecting the past to one's current identity. These findings support the theory that although media have transitioned to digital formats, the structure of autobiographical memory remains consistent. This study contributes to the fields of music psychology and memory research and highlights the potential application of nostalgic music in therapeutic and educational settings.
2025-10-01T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ummaspul.e-journal.id/maspuljr/article/view/8914 Application of Digital Literacy Media in Improving the Reading Habits of Students in Class IV SD Negeri 25 2025-05-16T20:25:13+00:00 Nurfia Abdullah fiaabdullah266@gmail.com Iwan Irawan iirawan34@gmail.com Wiwin R Redjeb wiwinrudinredjeb04@gmail.com
The issue raised in this study is how to apply digital literacy media to improve the reading habits of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 25 in Mandioli Selatan District, South Halmahera Regency. The research focuses on identifying the extent of students’ ability to correctly pronounce words containing the voiced stop /d/, a common challenge in English phonology for non-native speakers. The respondents consisted of 15 students selected from various classes. Data were collected through pronunciation tests including minimal pairs, sentences, and a paragraph containing multiple instances of /d/. Students' voices were recorded and analyzed to identify errors and calculate individual scores. The results revealed that the majority of students had significant difficulty distinguishing voiced stop /d/ from its voiceless counterpart /t/, often mispronouncing words such as bad as bat. The average score was 31, which indicates a very poor level of mastery. The findings suggest that most students lack awareness of the phonological rules related to voiced stops, are unfamiliar with certain vocabulary, and are influenced by their native language patterns. The study recommends that English teachers provide more targeted instruction, repetitive drills, and practical speaking activities focused on voicing distinctions to improve students’ pronunciation accuracy.
2025-06-07T21:37:46+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ummaspul.e-journal.id/maspuljr/article/view/8920 Implementation of Risk Management Development Principles 2025-06-11T03:40:41+00:00 Fitri yulia fitriyuliamin@gmail.com Yenita Anggraini Barus habibi.joli2@gmail.com Yusuf Hadijaya Hadijaya@gmail.com Muhammad Dalimunthe Dalimunthe@gmail.com
Risk management is the process of identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks that may be faced by an organization or individual in achieving certain goals. The background of this research is based on the important role parents play in supporting children's learning processes, particularly in the context of non-formal music education such as guitar courses. Although many studies have shown that parental motivation significantly contributes to academic achievement, few have specifically investigated this relationship within private instrumental music learning. This study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The sample consists of 35 students and their parents who actively participate in the guitar learning program. The instruments used include a parental motivation questionnaire and documentation of students' learning outcome scores. The data were analyzed using classical assumption tests, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression. The results of the classical assumption tests indicate that the data are normally distributed, free from heteroscedasticity, and meet the linearity assumption. However, the Pearson correlation test results show no significant relationship between parental motivation and students' guitar learning outcomes (r = -0.207; p = 0.290). The regression results also indicate that parental motivation does not have a significant effect on learning outcomes (p = 0.290). These findings suggest that other factors, such as students’ intrinsic motivation, frequency of independent practice, or the quality of instruction, play a greater role in determining guitar learning outcomes. Therefore, effective guitar learning should not rely solely on parental support but also aim to strengthen students' internal motivation and active engagement in the music learning process.
2025-10-01T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ummaspul.e-journal.id/maspuljr/article/view/8956 The Impact of Polyya's Problem-Solving Technique on Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability 2025-06-21T00:31:21+00:00 Elvi Syahara Lubis elvisyahara7@gmail.com Dedy Juliandri Panjaitan dedyjuliandri@umnaw.ac.id
This development research generally aims to develop valid, practical and effective problem-based learning devices, specifically the objectives are to: 1) Produce valid, practical and effective problem-based learning device development products in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities and independence. 2) Analyze the improvement of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in the application of problem-based learning devices. 3) Analyze the level of student learning independence in the application of learning devices.
